New painted condo..King in master with 2 person whirlpool, full bath with washer/dryer, 2 queen beds in 2nd bedroom with full bath, living room with fireplace, private balcony, kitchen with all appliances and cooking utensils. All linen is provided. Unit is non smoking. Pets are not allowed! Television and DVD player is in each room. Walking distance to Parkway is approximately 5 minutes. Trolley stop is in front of our lobby. Seasonal heated pool and hot tub located on the property, on site fitness center and complimentary high speed wireless internet. We have a large selection of DVD's, assorted video games, and XBOX game consoles at the main desk. Movies and games can be rented for a small fee.

Gatlinburg was the second leg of our family roadtrip this summer. When we arrived at the Mountain Vista Luxury Resort, our accomodations delighted every one of our family of six, and all for different reasons. My older parents, already exhausted from the
first leg, took one look at the plush king-size bed, the comfy sitting area, the view of the mountains from the balcony, and promptly had a three day vision of relaxation and rest. While my sister and I were most satisfied with the spick and span cleanliness
of the bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen, the fact that all the attractions were within walking distance, and the opportunity to save money by preparing our meals and having family dinners like we did at home. And, the kids were simply in love with the giant
screen tvs in every room which allowed them to watch their own shows, the chance to frolick in the pool, and the availability of XBOXs and movies for little or no cost. For us, Gatlinburg was the brightest spot on what would have otherwise been just a typical
roadtrip!!

Our only problem was the kids could not swim because the pool closed over an hour early (before 9:00). We read it was open until 10:00 and the disappointment of the kids was not fun to deal with. Of course that time of night there is no one at the desk to unlock the lock on the gate. Therefore, the kids never got to swim in the pool since we were out playing all day.

This was my third time staying w/ you guys and this was my most memorable stay, because it was my Honeymoon!!! The only real disappointment we had was that our kitchen didn't have enough pans and pots for cooking, because I actually LOVE to cook while I'm there. So I found myself traveling to Food City to not only buy groceries but pots and pans. So my one recommendation to the owner of the unit would be to have more pots and pans, but other than that it was WONDERFUL and we can't wait to go back at Labor Day :)

Our only complaint was the extreme noise from the building across the street (on Woliss) until 2:00 or 3:00 AM. In our opinion there should be better zoning laws in order to keep bars away from this area. We feel that this situation would be our only reason to not return.

This was by far the best lodging experience we have had. The cleanliness and location of Baskin Creek Condos was beyond measure. The furnishings were well maintained a nd comfortable. For anyone considering staying in Gatlinburg for a vacation stay, this is the perfect condo!
Location is 1 1/2 block distance from main road in Gatlinburg.

The condo's at this location are beautiful with some of the most comfortable beds we ever sleep in.
Nice size, very clean pool with hot tub.

Right in the center of Gatlinburg at light 6. No need to drive anywhere in Gatlinburg.

Respectable summer rates of $159 per night and well worth it.
(A note to the condo association) PLEASE do not raise these rates as this was 50% of the reason for choosing this condo.

You can not go wrong in choosing this condo for your vacation needs.

It would be nice if the cleaning crew would also check the kitchen inventory. The unit in which we stayed only had 2 pots/pans...not quite enough to cook for a family. The front desk staff are always very helpful and attentive.

We have been to this condo four times and 2 out of 4 we have had trouble with the AC. The AC unit is also noisy in the queen BR. Not enough pans to cook with. No pitcher for iced tea.

My family stayed at the Baskins Creek Condo #214 the last week of 2008 and it was great. This condo is a very comfortable walk from the strip. It is about three blocks from the back entrance into the Village. It is not straight up hill either like some that advertise to be “within walking distance”.

The condo was very clean and nicely decorated. The master bath is awesome with a huge shower and big vanity. There was also a whirlpool tub in the master bedroom.

We have also stayed at the Gatehouse which is very nice and a little more upscale with granite countertops and such, but the location of this condo make it a winner.

My only complaint is not really the fault of the condo, but I want to warn as many people as possible. My daughter became very ill with strep throat and we asked the desk about a clinic. Being that it was New Years Day, they gave us a flyer sent to them from a PM-ER clinic in Pigeon Forge…Dr Bryan Smith (actually Dr Nelson Bryan Smith). This guy is, in my opinion, an unethical rip-off artist posing as a doctor. Google his name or the clinic and you will find several complaints. We were charged $729.00 (must pay right then) for her visit and the same visit one year earlier (ironically to the day) at our local clinic was less than $200.00. We did not feel like we had any options, but now know that we should have gone to the ER in Sevierville.

We made reserv. way ahead of time for a 2bdrm with dbl beds and a sofa bed. somehow we did not get that after confirming several times that the reserv. was made correctly, so, we had to rent an additional room and even though they gave it to us for $99.00 plus tax that was $300.00 of our spending money and i didn't think that was fair. It was not our fault that someone there made a mistake and we have stayed with yall every since you opened and I would think that would have some kind of meaning.

This year at Baskins Creek Condo's was just as pleasant as 07. Very nice rooms and very helpful staff. Very clean and comfortable also. The beds are awsome! Kids loved the pool! Overall it was very nice and I would definately stay there again and recommend it to friends. The only complaints we had was that the front desk was really not manned very well, but it worked out. There was not enough towels or pans to cook with. The dryer was not good - it would take one and a half hours just to dry 5-6 towels. It was a beautiful property and we really enjoyed it.
