King in master with 2 person whirlpool, full bath with washer/dryer, 2 queen beds in 2nd bedroom with full bath, living room with fireplace, private balcony, kitchen with all appliances and cooking utensils. All linen is provided. Unit is non smoking. Pets are not allowed! Television and DVD player is in each room. Walking distance to Parkway is approximately 5 minutes. Trolley stop is in front of our lobby. Seasonal heated pool and hot tub located on the property, on site fitness center and complimentary high speed wireless internet. We have a large selection of DVD's, assorted video games, and XBOX game consoles at the main desk. Movies and games can be rented for a small fee.

We were very excited about our home away from home. We were very comfortable at completely at ease. We enjoyed every minute. Everything we needed to enjoy our staff was right there.

Off the record , I do have to say the decoration in the master bath over the camode is too heavy. It fell and scared me something awful. It has fallen before because it has scratched the wall. Other than that, we would love to come back often and even purchase as we are in our retirement years. Thank you.

Our experience with Mountain Vista was excellent. We travelled with an older couple and found the rooms to be great. The bed and bath rooms were clean and comfortable. The access to the garage via the elevator was another plus. We left with the feeling that of all the housing options in the area we had chosen well. We enjoyed coffee on the little balcony and my wife especially enjoyed a few brief times in front of the gas fireplace.

The staff are always friendly and considerate of any needs that may arise. The facility is extremely clean overall. The location is perfect for any activities in downtown Gatlinburg. We started staying here a few years ago, and could never stay anywhere else !

We were very pleased with our rental condo. The condo was spacious, clean, and very attractive and well decorated. It was a close walk to downtown Gatlinburg so we didn't have to fight the traffic or find a place to park. We would definitely consider staying again.

This is the 3 time we have stayed with Mountain Vista. We took a family vote 3 years ago to start staying at Mountain Vista. We love the people, the condo and the peace and quiet. The price is great for the condo we get. Our daughter loves that she can get her own room and bathroom. We use to stay in hotels but it was just to compact for 3 people. We will always come back every year for our family vacation in the fall.

Mountain Vista was an amazing place to stay!! Very comfortable for families or a romatic get away. Close to all attractions! The staff was ready to please with whatever needed. Very accommodating and beautiful facilites. Cannot wait to visit again.

When this place first opened up - about 3 years ago - the staff bent over backwards to help their guests. Now they have repeat business and pretty much full bookings, they are tweaking rules and changes to better suit them.
This is understandable as managing 10 rentals is a lot easier than 60 rentals of course. Also rules have to be in place to make this orderly and consistent for everybody.
This place has to be one of the best locations in the Smokies. It is super clean, a great location and very modern. All of the fellow renters were evry well behaved and there was no extraneous noise in the corridors at all. Best place to stay with the family.

I misspelled piece on purpose. It was a piece of heaven but it was so peaceful and a great place to unwind at the end of the day. Maybe I should have called it heavenly peace.

Everyone associated with Baskins was very helpful and displayed that wonderful Southern hospitality.

condo was very nice, very spacious, it could have used a CD player to listen to music. pool was great but however no outdoor bathroom that we were aware of so going back up to the room with 2 kids was a task. overall it was a good value and good location.

Overall, we had a very nice stay. Our one concern is the amount of wasps at the pool. There were days we couldn't swim because the number of wasps. There needs to be some sort of control-system for these.

Incredibly clean, spacious, and comfortably appointed units. Having the ability to sleep 6 guests and have a full kitchen is a huge value. Why spend your vacation dollars on a mid-range hotel when you can have a nicer unit and more money to spend go-karting, golfing, and shopping on the strip?

Very nice place - new, clean, plenty of room, not like a lot of cabins I have stayed in that are outdated, well worn, and not very clean - this place rocked! The only downside was there was no real good view; but the balcony view wasn't offensive; poolside appears to be the best side for view, but I would guess that might get noisy at times; proximity to downtown was excellent - 5 minute walk max to the village

the only negative comment I would say is to get a pool side condo, our condo was on the mountain side and each nigth we would here the dumpster service picking up. the building was very niceand only a couple of blocks off the main drag. had no problem parking my f350 crew cab truck in the covered parking area. My comments are related only to the apartment we stayed in, not the rest of the complex. The apartment was void of all artistic touches. There were no paintings, photographs, or other art work to enjoy. There were no curtains on the windows, but the rods were still there. The complex on the other hand is gorgeous!! We loved just coming into the front foyer and marveling at the woodwork, fireplace and Christmas decorations. The Staff was fantastic and was able to help us with our specific needs. I would definately recommend the complex to any of our friends or family, just not the apartment we stayed in. We are looking forward to our nest stay between Christmas and New Years 2008, in a different apartment. Plain and simple...you guys ROCK!!!

We had a great time in Gatlinburg. Your staff was friendly and helpful. We visited the first of December. The unit was nice but not as pictured in the ad we chose from. All the art was removed from the walls and the view was not as pictured. The batteries in all the remotes but one were bad. It was very clean and nice however. Next time we visit we would like to take advantage of the shuttle which wasn't available when we were there. The complex was almost new so that was a big plus we thought.
