King in master with 2 person whirlpool, full bath with washer/dryer, 2 queen beds in 2nd bedroom with full bath, living room with fireplace, private balcony, kitchen with all appliances and cooking utensils. All linen is provided. Unit is non smoking. Pets are not allowed! Television and DVD player is in each room. Walking distance to Parkway is approximately 5 minutes. Trolley stop is in front of our lobby. Seasonal heated pool and hot tub located on the property, on site fitness center and complimentary high speed wireless internet. We have a large selection of DVD's, assorted video games, and XBOX game consoles at the main desk. Movies and games can be rented for a small fee.

This was an attractive condo, but we're a family of six. I mentioned this when making the reservation, but was assured by the clerk that the Condo would meet our needs. For the most part, we got by, but the kitchen was not well appointed. Pots, pans, and bowls were lacking, and there were no potholders anywhere, so using the oven was almost impossible. Maybe I'm old-fashioned, but I don't consider a condo family friendly if I can't cook in it. For a short stay or for a longer one (like ours) this condo is nice as long as you plan to do most of your eating out.

This is a great place to stay! I am telling everyone I know about it! It is so new and modern. It is an easy walk to town, but yet far enough away from the traffic and hustle and bustle. The covered parking area is a plus and it's very secure since you
need your key card to access the elevator. Nice view of the mountains from unit 305. Everything was very clean and well care for in this unit. We will definitely stay here again.

This is the hird time I've stayed at this complex and plan on staying well into the future (1-2 times a year). Rate is fair but taxes make it a bit pricey but that's part of Gatlinburg. Nicest/most convenient in the 'Burg

We weren't sure if we would like staying somewhere different than the Smokey Mtn Inn. Our stay was fantastic. I wish I had known to bring a hair dryer. I just assumed it would be furnished. I went and bought one and then found out all I had to do was ask the front desk. I think there should be something a little more informative of what's available if you forgot something other than the vending machine. Or a phone availble to call the front desk if you have any questions. That is why most people keep staying at the same place because they know what to expect. Myseld and some of the ladies I work with are planning a trip to Gatlinburg in November and I hope we can stay @ Mtn Vista.

Curtains would be great. The early sun woke me up in the mornings. Also, there were some spots on the carpet that tracked all along the family room. Don't know what it was. Maybe oil of some kind. Looked nasty.

The only thing that woud have rated the rest a 5 was the pool. It was FREEZING, even in 93 degree weather. I was told it was heated when I called. One of the main things we came to do was swim. The property was wonderful otherwise. If a main reason for going was partly swimming I wouldn't recommend.

Great location, great facilities. Only two things I wish were different. 1. It would be nice if they allowed smoking on the patio/decks. My frineds and I like to have a cigar once in a while and it would have been nice to have on on the deck. 2. There is no alcohol allowed at the pool or hot tub. A plastic cup rule seems reasonable.

We found out that this place has been there 3 years! We had to search A LOT to find this on the internet, they definitely need to update their website to make this an easier find for people. GREAT price, GREAT location, LOVED the accommodations, my only complaint was that the view of the motel next door was disgusting and we had to focus on the moutains in the distance (which was a little deceptive in the description by the condo). We will definitely be returning for another stay here in the summer to hopefully enjoy some better weather!

This was our first vacation as a married couple and had high expectations. Mountain Vista exceeded our expectations not only in location, but also in the look and feel of our condo. The rooms were very spacious and cozy, and the five minute walk to downtown was amazing.

We have stayed at several condos in Gatlinburg, and the Condos at Baskin Creek far outweigh most others. We will definetly choose to stay here again. The floor plan was very spacious and more upscale than you would normally find in Gatlinburg. Enjoyed the stay!

This place is excellent. We have stayed here 4 times in the last 3 years and honestly there is nothing better in the area. For the money you get modern facilities, top notch security, the comforts and conveniences of a home away from home. Spa, pool and friendly staff to make the stay a pleasant one. Nice little touches like beautiful lobby, free coffee downstairs (excellent taste btw) and free video/game rentals to occupy the kids when the weather is bad. If you look at some of the other rubbish they have available in Gatliburg then you will see why I say this is a hidden gem. Each time I come here I see more and more guests staying here. Location is also perfect: easy walking distance and away from the circuc, I mean crowds.

Our whole family was so pleased with our condo at Baskins Creek. It was beautiful and had a lodge-like feel to it, while being new, clean and comfortable. It was perfect for walking downtown at night for shopping or restaurants. We loved the mountain views! We are ready to go back. It was nice to do our laundry in our condo, and return home with clean clothes and a relaxed family! It was a wonderful vacation.

We've stayed at the property multiple times since it's opening and while still very nice, is starting to show it's age. It would be good if you continue to charge the rates you are charging to perhaps do some painting and general freshening of the unit. The bathrooms in partiular are showing a lot of wear.

The condo/unit was extremely nice. It was as nice as the one we stay in at Orange Beach, Alabama each year (and it is very nice). The unit was clean and perfect for our needs. We generally stay in a chalet in the mountains--but never again. The condo has all the amenities without the mountain drive. The only problem I had was with the wireless. I don't know if it had to do with the mountains or what but it would constantly kick me off of the internet but I could always get right back on. Overall, a perfect stay.

The only thing missing that would have been helpful was a hairdryer! I had to get up early, & the front desk did not open until 8 am, so I had to do without. I stopped traveling with a dryer long ago, because all hotels seem to have them now--I figured if you even had a blender, there would have to be a hair dryer! The king sized bed felt SO good, I slept wonderfully! I would like to know what brand it is! Really nice place to stay.

The bedroom door and 2nd bedroom toilet locks were not working since the day of my arrival and despite repeated requests to manager Brad, they were not fixed. On the night before my departure when I called the manager on the phone, first he claimed that he had fixed the locks and when I told him that they were still not working, he was dismissive and rude telling me what is the great inconvenience if the inner locks do not work? I am a frequent visitor to Gatlinburg but would not stay here again.
The location of the property is very good and the general condition is also good, but if the service is poor it will not help in the end. I would not like to deal with boorish managers on a holiday and spoil my vacation?

I like Baskins Creek a lot. The only negative things I have to say about Baskins Creek are that they were skimpy on towels and supplies such as soap, dish washing liquid, etc. Also guests are asked to take out the trash, turn on the dishwasher and put all linens in the master bath before they leave. I don't think guests should be asked to do housekeeping chores.

We came in on Saturday before the 4th of July and stayed 5 nights. We loved the condo and found it remarkably quiet (w/one exception) and very comfortable. One night the family staying above us ran water into the jacuzzi tub around 11pm and we thought the thing was going to come thru the floor. I was afraid they were going to turn on the jets....but never did.

The Fitness Room equipment was marginal.

Overall, would not hesitate to stay there again.

Three co-workers/friends and I recently spent two nights in Baskins Square Condos in downtown Gatlinburg. Our condo was comfortably and beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean, and conveniently located to restaurants and shops. The trolley which stopped at the front door was a plus, transporting us wherever we wanted to go for small coins. This was an excellent mini-vacation which we will want to repeat soon. A great place with a great staff!

My husband and I visit Gatlinburg on a regular basis. This trip was for our Anniversary, but our daughter was still and infant. I wanted to get away, but I was not ready to leave her behind. We chose to take my mom and my mother-in-law with us. (Not the most romantic of situations) But, with the setup at Baskin's Creek, it worked out great! The "moms" had plenty of space for themselves, we had a nice balcony, and we were not far from downtown. This is MUCH nicer than any of the hotels in Gatlinburg, it is much more comparable to a cabin, but with the convenience of the hotels. We were able to leave baby and moms behind for a quick outing to town if we wanted and it saved a ton on parking. I would definately go back!

Pleasantly Surprised.

This is the hird time I've stayed at this complex and plan on staying well into the future (1-2 times a year). Rate is fair but taxes make it a bit pricey but that's part of Gatlinburg. Nicest/most convenient in the 'Burg

Our unit was very clean with beautiful furnishings -- well above average as it regards other units we have stayed in at other properties. Front desk personnel were friendly and very professional. Above all, the proximity to downtown was wonderful!!
