  We loved the room and always enjoy our stay there but the last 2 nighys a basketball team stayed above us. They should have been on the 1st floor so the could stomp and bounce a ball without disturbing amyone.

  These condos we beautiful. New, clean, well kept. Very comfortable. Wish we'd stayed longer! The location was perfect , close to the park and a few minutes walk from everything in Gatlinburg. So glad we didn't have to drive on the main strip. Would definitely

  The condo we stayed in was excellent, very clean and large. Even though the place was full, when in our condo we never heard a thing. The staff on check-in were very nice. We checked out early and they had left directions on what to do. It is in easy walking distance to the main street and I liked the security to get into the building. We will definitely stay there again.

  I had a little trouble with check in due to my reservation was placed in my first and middle name. Did not bring my confirmanation # which caused confusion. This was resovlved by manager. The shower wall had a splattering of long black hairs stuck on it. The garden tub was still dirty and the last people's bubbles and scum were present when we tried to use. Other tha n these items the place was very nice and we enjoyed our stay.

  We have stayed here several times before. Beautiful complex, great location to walk downtown. Always felt secure here, until the last night of our stay.Our door bell rang, and someone opened the door. When she saw me standing at the kitchen, she said sorry and started to close the door. Then she opened the door back again and explained she was from the front desk. That someone had said they thought they smelled something like wires were hot or some type of smell. I told her we had'nt smelled anything. Then she closed the door. My husband and I Looked at each other and thought that was very strange. This was around nine thirty PM. We did decide to go to the front desk, and she was the only one there. She did apologize and said she was new and that she had panicked. We did let her know that what she had done was not very proffessional.
  I felt very uncomfortable after that.
  When we checked out the next morning we did let the young lady know what had happened. She was very nice and apologized and said she would pass the information on to management.

• Once a year all the women in our family that can make it get together for a weekend in Gatlinburg. The past two years we have stayed at Baskins Creek. We LOVE the location since we walk everywhere we go in Gatlinburg.

  My husband and I also try to get to Gatlinburg a couple of long weekends each year but we had never stayed there together. He was very pleasantly surprised! He loved the convenience of walking everywhere and not having to pay to park. The property is beautiful and very well maintained, we will definately be back.

  Coming from a person that opens all cabinets, looks behind and under everything. I can honestly say this place was clean, convenient and pretty. We have always stayed in cabins all the years we've visited Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge. This year we were traveling with 4 month old twins, and wanted to be able to get to town should the need arise. After our 6 day stay, we've decided we will be returning to these condo's.

  This was ultra nice. We had four adults and plenty of room. The beds are very comfortable. Very clean and plenty of towels. Front desk ladies are great. There were a few minor things like no kitchen dishcloths and missing candles from the decorations, but no biggee there. Being on the second floor, our "mountain view" was more a view of the cheesy hotel next door than of the mountains. Next time, I would opt for the pool view. You can walk to downtown, but it is up hill on the return walk. We are old and out of shape, so if we can do it you can do it.

  Great property and location! We enjoyed the property and were within walking distance of everything. The price was very appropriate for a family of five. The hot tub could have been a little hotter and the whirlpool bath in the unit was not working appropriately, but we used it and it was fine.

  As a good friend and business colleage of Dale who knows the owners of this property, I thoroughly enjoyed the time we had in the smokies. This was the first trip we made together early in the year and loved the condo. This time we came back and loved the condo. Just could not afford to do everything so we just stayed one night but I did propose and she said yes! Could not ask for anything better, A nice fall weekend at Baskins Creek and VOLS Beat the DAWGS!!!

  Overall I would say that we enjoyed our stay but there were a few things that I did not enjoy and may keep me from coming back or recommending it to a friend. The pros were it was very clean, nice room, comfortable beds, good size for six people, free x-box for the week and very cheap ($1.50 for the whole time we were there) rental of games, close to downtown but not noisy, good pool, and good fitness room. We had a good time. Now to the cons. The mountain view posted on the website was a little misleading. What we actually had was a view of another hotel (and not a very good looking one). You had to look up to see the mts. but you could still see the motel. If you laid on the bed and looked up, then you could only see the mts. Not very honest. The hotel staff at the desk and when I called was okay. They answered my questions, giving a minimal amount of info and were sort of helpful but not particually friendly. Like they had to help instead of wanted to help. I would have prefered if there was staff in the lobby a little later than there was each night. If we had a problem we were just tough out of luck. Also there was no note on the website saying if you arrived late there wouldn't be anyone there, and we met at least one guest who had just that problem and it took them quite awhile to work it all out and get checked in. I didn't appreciate having to gather up my own sheets and empty my own trash. For the price I was paying I shouldn't have had to do those things. I did 't mind cleaning up after myself during my stay but at the end of my stay I should just be able to check out, not have to clean up. Lastly, we brought along my handicapped mother. There were only four handicapped parking spots that were always full. One night we thought we saw one open so we drove around to it but the hotel had parked it's own golf cart/utility cart in it. How inconsiderate! We were so upset by it we almost called the police
