King in master with 2 person whirlpool, full bath with washer/dryer, 2 queen beds in 2nd bedroom with full bath, living room with fireplace, private balcony, kitchen with all appliances and cooking utensils. All linen is provided. Unit is non smoking. Pets are not allowed! Television and DVD player is in each room. Walking distance to Parkway is approximately 5 minutes. Trolley stop is in front of our lobby. We have a large selection of DVD's, assorted video games, and XBOX game consoles that we loan out at the desk at no charge. Seasonal heated pool and hot tub located on the property, on site fitness center and complimentary high speed wireless internet.

This place was exactly what they show you in pics. very nice decor. It was modern and comfortable. It was very clean and made our vacation with my 5 year old and husband's grandmother more enjoyable. The location is pretty good. You could walk to the strip if you wanted. Its about a block away from it. The comforter on the master bdr bed was stinky but we just removed it. I would def stay again

We had a wonderful time staying in MVLR. The location was convenient - Traffic Light Number 6 - Downtown Gatlinburg. We could easily walk there and see what we wanted to see.
We felt safe because you had to have a key to even get on the elevator so only paying guests could get inside the building. The rooms were nice, new, and clean. It would have been nice to have more than one set of towels for each bathroom. We had to wash towels every day. Also, it would have been nice to have more garbage bags. We brought and bought many supplies. We just didn't realize that we would need garbage bags. We didn't have any dishwasher detergent so we just used what we bought sparingly. Other than this very small inconvenience which we will prepare for next time, we had a wonderful time in your beautiful condos. :)

We had originally planned to stay in Gatlinburg the following weekend but when the tornado's came through AL and our power was out we called to see if we could reschedule. They were very friendly and willing to reschedule based on the situation. They also were very willing to work with us regarding the time we needed to stay there because we didn't know when our power would be restored. If we needed to stay another night they were willing to discount the price because of our situation. I was very pleased with everything. THANK YOU!!!!

The windows in the master bedroom didn't keep out the cold air very well. We had to stuff towels around the sills to slow the cold air flow coming in around the windows! Otherwise, the location is great, staff is friendly.

Did notice this time though thatthe staff is not quite as friendly, the amenities not as plentiful and the condition (paint, clenaliness) not as it has been in the past. the home was well cleaned and the staff at mountain vista are very helpful and knowledigle of the area,we have been there 2 times.
My husband and I had stayed at Baskins Creek in July and loved that unit (208). But this particular unit (302) was just not as appealing. We heard noises in the walls and ceiling (bangs and cracks) the entire time we were there.

We couldn't get the TV to work at first and then realized that it was disconnected at the outlet. I hurt my hand trying to squeeze it behind the entertainment center to re-connect the plug. The gas log fireplace is timed so we had to remember to turn it on occasionally. We love the location of Baskins Creek and will try again next time! Overall, we do enjoy the luxury of the 2 bedrooms and bathrooms of the units along with the fully supplied kitchen. The units are very nice and clean.

We were very impressed with the condo and the price. The condo was very clean, updated, and we loved the layout. The price was unbelievable compared to hotels in the area. I stayed here on recommendation from a friend. It was noisy. Lots of outside noises, noise from above and below condos. Reservation desk did not stay open until 10 PM like it said. We went down at 9:15 and it was already closed. The next morning the clerk at the desk said they close early if it is slow. Some service. No apologies given either.

We first satyed at Baskin Creek about 3-4 mos after they first opened. We have now returned back and stayed in the exact same unit each time probably 5 more times. We have gone for entire week and just for the weekend. Love being able to walk down the hill and be right in the Village on strip in Gatlinburg. The whole family loves it - that's not always an easy accomplishment! Thanks!

We had stayed in this same unit back in Oct 2007 which I believe was not long after the condos first opened. We absolutely loved everything about Baskins Creek. The spaciousness of teh condo was wonderful. When deciding to visit again this summer we knew we wanted to stay here again. Making reservations was easy - the representative was very helpful and we were even able to secure the same unit as before which made it all 'familiar' to us. There have been some changes to the property and the way it is run/maintained since we were there previously. Not sure whether there has been a change in management or just the fact of business itself necessitating change. Overall a great place to stay. Not much of a view but not really an issue unless you are planning on staying in room alot. Within easy walking of the Parkway or if you prefer, the Trolley stops right at front of condos. Makes it nice and very convenient. Location is also ideal for driving - you are right at a main light (#6) which makes getting into and out of traffic much easier than some places. The covered parking is a nice added bonus too. Definitely recommend. We have already made plans to return.

Very convenient to the Park and local dining. Everything is new and fresh, but, several hall lights were burned out. We would prefer more clean towels, but, the room did include a washer/dryer. Better selection of DVD rentals would be a plus.
